Program Manager — DataraFlow

Location: Nigeria-Remote Type: Full-time Reports to: Director of Programs About DataraFlow DataraFlow is Africa's accountability-driven talent accelerator. We run a free, intensive six-month program in Data Science, Machine Learning, and Generative AI for African professionals — built on structured daily milestones, weekly deliverables, and a removal policy that means our graduates can prove they finish what they start. We don't sell hope. We build proof. The Role The Program Manager owns the day-to-day operation of the cohort end to end. This is not a coordination role that waits for direction, you are the person accountable for the program running well, spotting problems before they surface, and resolving them. You will be the operational backbone between participants, mentors, and leadership across a six-month cohort cycle. What You'll Own Program delivery: - Own the cohort calendar, milestones, and weekly deliverable cycle - Track participant progress against milestones and apply the removal policy consistently and fairly - Run orientation, weekly sessions, and program checkpoints end to end Participant experience: - Serve as the primary point of contact for participants - Identify disengagement early and intervene before dropout - Own retention and graduation rate as measurable outcomes Mentor coordination: - Recruit, onboard, and coordinate mentors across the cohort - Ensure mentor–participant matching and follow-through Systems and operations: - Administer Discord, Publication Sites, and the learning platforms - Maintain program documentation and participant records - Report cohort health and risks to leadership without being asked What We're Looking For: This role requires someone who operates independently. Specifically: Ownership: You treat the program's outcomes as yours. When something goes wrong, you own it and fix it rather than escalating and waiting. Initiative: You identify problems before they're pointed out to you, propose solutions, and move work forward without constant direction. Execution: You plan, prioritize, and deliver on time. Deadlines are commitments, not estimates. Independent judgment: You make decisions within your remit and escalate only what genuinely needs escalating.

Requirements: - 2+ years in program management, community management, operations, or a comparable role - Demonstrated track record of running a program or cohort end to end - Strong written communication — you'll be writing to participants daily - Comfort with Discord, Zoho or similar, learning platforms or portals, and spreadsheets - Reliable internet and availability across the cohort schedule (WAT) - Genuine interest in data science / AI education and African talent development Nice to have: - Background in edtech, bootcamps, or talent accelerators - Familiarity with data science or AI fundamentals - Experience managing volunteer or mentor networks NB: DataraFlow never charges a fee to process an application.
